Peter Hansen founded Hansen Honey Company in 1951 for the production of honey. For over 65 years Pete and Hansen Honey Company have packed and sold honey for customers from retail chains, events, and individuals.
Beginning in 1975 the pollination division was started to service commercial customers and individual farmers throughout Illinois and the greater midwestern market with their crop pollination needs.
As a life long beekeeper Pete has been very active in the beekeeping community as a member of various clubs/organizations, an instructor and advisor for various workshops, and given lectures for association and enthusiast audiences.
